Course
The 2010 Tour de Riverton course has been finalized. You can find the course on MapMyRide.com. MapMyRide has some issues with that route showing that the elevation profile is for a 45 mile course.
Here’s the basic outline of the course:
- Start at Riverton City Offices
- Head north on 1830 West
- Turn left onto 12600 South and head west toward Herriman
- Rest stop at 6000 West and 12600 South
- Head west up Herriman Highway (12600 South)
- OPTION: Ride Butterfield Canyon up and down
- Herriman Highway becomes U-111 (Bacchus Highway) and heads north
- Turn right (east) on 11800 South
- Turn right (south) on 6000 West and continue to the rest stop
- Go straight across (south) 12600 South on 6000 West which becomes Mirabella Drive
- Continue on Mirabella until you turn right on Emmeline
- Immediately turn right off of Emmeline onto Butterfield Park Way
- Head west on Butterfield Park Way past the Rodeo Grounds
- Turn right on Rose Canyon Road (6400 West)
- Turn right on 12600 South (Herriman Highway)
- You will pass the rest stop again, and can stop if needed
- Follow 12600 South east to Riverton City Park. You will go past the turn from the Riverton City Offices.

Maps will be available AT THE START.
Curious? You can still view TDR 2009 Course on Google Maps. We’ll make some modifications to last year’s course in response to the construction that has been completed since last summer.
